As you like it? We’re sure you’ll love it.
After a ten-year break, we’re bringing back the Bard. Our bright and breezy re-telling of Shakespeare’s witty rom-com is a perfect way to banish the winter blues and welcome the rites of spring. There’s wrestling, cross-dressing and coupling aplenty as young lovers, Rosalind and Orlando, fall for each other against a backdrop of political chicanery and family fallout.

“How can I go to heaven if I don't know who I am?” says Ernest to his daughter, Lynne, when his niggling and worsening memory problems are finally diagnosed as Alzheimer’s Disease.
But he also has a plan: to leave a vital imprint of who he is. Lynne is to be the keeper of his memory, the guardian of their past.
Join them on their journey; share their hopes, fears, smiles, strength and tears , and arrive with them as they seize the last memory and a carpe diem hope.
Lasting approximately 1 hour, this poignant play is inspired by a real life story and explores how it’s possible to extract joy from the pain, and laughter from the tears, whilst experiencing or supporting someone with dementia.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local dementia charities.
Following the performance there will be a short interval, where you can relax with a drink in the bar, before an optional discussion and Q&A session with the actors and writer. You are very welcome to share your own experiences around the subject if you wish to.
